Specialties
Dr. Robert Schertzer runs a subspecialty practice in glaucoma, including complicated cataracts in glaucoma patients. New patients are welcome by referral only (from ophthalmologists, other physicians and optometrists.)
Insurance
Fully covered through province of British Columbia's Medical Services Plan (MSP) Care Card. Private pay for non-insured patients is accepted as well.

We are pleased to announce that Dr Katherine Pratt is seeing patients on Thursdays at the West Coast Glaucoma Centre for optometric assessments. She is available for patients who do not already have an optometrist for general eye care needs.
Thanks to the help of Dr Robert Woods seeing glaucoma follow-up patients one day per week, we are now able to see all our glaucoma patients in a timely manner.
